It has been a while since I have posted on this forum or been involved with LLS however today I was contacted by Maastrich who informed me that his son Daniel who we knew as Nightcaller passed away yesterday.
Some of you do not know me or Nightcaller but for those who did and played our UT servers I was asked to inform the earlier members.
I have very little additional information and at this time Maastrich needed some time to try to come to terms with it which is why I suspect he asked me.  I can only offer my deepest sympathy and condolences for Masstrich.

Rest in peace Nightcaller we had some fun times.

It's sad to hear that. I remember Nightcaller well, we had lots of good times in both UT and Left4dead.

I think Maastrich would maybe like to spend some time playing with you guys after he has got over the rawness of losing his son. Maybe relive a little of those days somehow I am not sure. I cannot imagine how it would be to lose a child. Anyway Lucifer
I see you are link to him on facebook maybe you can help him in some way with this and I of course will do whatever I can to help.

This kind of thing makes me reflect and realise how valuable those days were in my own life and just want to tell you all thank you fo those good memories and I am very grateful.

Thank you guys, for the warm thoughts - I know he held you guys dearly.

Playing with you made him learn to speak English like he was a native englishman.

The last year have been very hard, and now his birthday is right around the corner, god knows I miss him every day.
All in all I'm holding up, I carry with me all the memories, and I would like to thank you all for all the good times in the past - like Colin said, those times were really valuable and I'm also very grateful for the good memories.

A also want to share with you, on the baseplate of his tombstone we engraved the word 'Epic' - afterall he was a gamer, and what an Epic gamer he was!

All the best, I will be hanging around even tho the forum seems to quiet these days.
