PS: I went through this thread tweaking some posts. If you copy a link from YouTube these days, it's https which the auto embed thing doesn't support. Make sure to remove the s and only use long urls, the shorter urls don't work either

So, after thinking "noooooo" on watching the trailer, I gave the new Robocop movie a go.

It's substituted some of the subtler points about politics with different ones, there's less boobs, no cocaine addled villains, a lot less blood but it's actually not bad. Samuel L Motherfucking Jackson's character makes an interesting speech at the end that mirrors how a lot of people seem to see America.

Go watch it and hope the couple of shout-out lines from the original don't remind you too much of how awesome the first one was. You'll probably like it.
